Ok, so this was a huge discussion on the old board. Now I've got some change laying around again and am looking at a welder.
Can anyone suggest any for a decent price? I'll basically just be doing body welds, and maybe body mount welding, but don't forsee any chassis welding in the near future.
Just saw this one on sale at Harbor Freight....thoughts? Bad thing is that it's 230v, and my garage currently only has 120v....

The weld pac 100 worked great for me. I also had a century GS125 that was great. They both used tweko ?sp guns and Century is now owned by Linclon. Got mine at fleet farm.

if you get a brand name it would be better for resale in case you ever want to upgrade.
you might find a used one at art olsen swap meet, but if you don't spend it now it might not last til then.

Lincoln or Century with a gas feed. Don't go just fluxcore. Especially on bodywork.

the Sp135 will be twice the money of the weld pac, but three times the welder.
